Veil Styling 101
Choosing a veil is the final decision in accessorizing your wedding day look. If you’re new to shopping veils online, we’re here to help. Debra loves the element of theater a veil adds, and enjoys helping brides pick out the perfect style for their gown. Here are some of Debra’s tips to help you choose the perfect veil!
Lace and painted veils are best worn with an architectural gown with little to no ornamentation. Let the veil shine!
2. Short veils can compartmentalize you and cut off your dress. If you love a short veil, opt for a sheer fabric that will still showcase the lines of your dress.
3. A sheer floor-length veil blends the lines of your gown and softens the back. It’s a great way to add some drama to your look without overwhelming the dress.
4. Long veil styles are always show-stopping and are preferred for outdoor weddings when the wind will lift the veil for dramatic photographs. Short veils can become unruly in the breeze, but you can elegantly drape a long veil over your arm if the wind becomes an issue.
